157 16 2 1 The school was established in 1953. The then D.I. education undivided Assam from Nagaon to Dhubri. Mr Chitra Malla Baruah father of renowned writer, jangrai poet, French language translator, professor cotton college, later got IAS and ACS in the same year 1952 and posted as IRS officer then lower assam plain's commissioner, revenue, khadi and gram udyog chairmen Mr. Ajit Baruah awarded sahitya akademy, studied in paris also and retired in 1986. Lt chitra malla baruah discussed with the educated person belong to his family Mr girindra malla, Mr upendra malla, Mr phanindra malla after the establishment of Chandkuchi MV ME section in 1927 in establishing the Chandkuchi Public highschool. The then honourable education minister Lt Radhika mohan das and respected IS kamrup Lt dandeswar gogoi, educationist Lt Sarat goswami, Lt jitendra malla baruah all were cooperated in establishing the school.
